Some of you may not have caught it, but there was a reference made last week here on our little blog to a once famous garage band. Our little band, which went by many names, was referenced in this post...
...aahhh the neighborhood block party - neighborhood hide & seek - everyone at the party's house was fair game......and I'll never forget the year we had REAL entertainment...a BAND ! (Yes, your favorite AND mine, Tit and the Boobs !) - My mother has pix someplace...I'll have to get ahold of those for you ! That neighborhood was the BEST ! (Remember the Grzlak's "dinner bell" ?) I think Mrs. G actually was louder than the bell !

That comment came from Rachael Carter, a beloved neighbor and closet groupie. She was also a fine neighborhood basketball player.
Well...lo and behold as I am transferring everything I own on cassette to my laptop this weekend, I have stumbled across some cherished, valuable recordings made of that once famous band.
Without reservation, I now present to you...our listeners/readers, these rare recordings made over 20 years ago...now heard here for the very first time. TIT AND THE BOOBS LIVES!
We actually went by many names throughout our musical run. Pick a Rush album and we probably went by that name at some time. Here's the lineup on the following tracks...
Lead Vocals - Brian Williams (Brian liked to sing country and we forced him to wear a nut vice and sing really high on the rock and roll tunes)
-
Lead Guitar - Tim Bradbury (For my money, he was the best teenage guitar player around. Tim loved Alex Lifeson from Rush and also would do strange things for Scooby snacks)
-
Bass - Craig Titley (His bass was pink. He owned most of our P.A. equipment. His cat was fluffy. His Mom and Dad were the only ones who would put up with this kind of noise)
Keyboards - Paul Crutcher (I'm just happy to be here)
Drums - Todd Cole (We had somewhat of a rotation of drummers in the group. I believe Todd is playing on these tracks)
I submit the following two tracks with a few more to follow....
Daytripper (recorded live in the MHS cafeteria for an after hoops dance)
-
Major Tom (recorded live in Craig's basement on Stinson Ave.)
If demand requires, we may digitally re-master the whole live album and release it to the public. A tour will follow shortly I am sure.

For high school kids, you guys rock.
Girls who like Tim and Paul line up on the left; you other two take the glasses off, pick the food out of your braces and line up on the right. :)
I saw this band once...live and in person. They were good baby....they were really good. They could have been a contend-a.
