I had one of the early Tandy 1000 series. We worked on the TRS80 in computer class at school. The screen was the size of your Iphone with the little green font. I think base memory was 640K. These ads are great and who would of thought that Bill Gates would be in a Radio Shack ad! THANKS FOR SHARING THIS!

Thanks for the comment Bill! This begs the question...are we going to make fun of the technology we are using now 20 years down the road. When does it end?

I wonder where we'll be spending the night 20 years from now to get the fasted internet? It's incredible that the BIG memory of computers of yesteryear doesn't even compare to our MP3 players, flash drives or multimedia phones of today. How much smaller and more versatile can "memory" be?
